Questions:

01. Printer doesn’t recognize the TF:
02. Printer doesn’t recognize the TT400 and generates error 49.xx.xx.

Answers:

01. Is the TF switched on? On the front side, the green LED next to the power switch
......must be burning.
02. Be sure that the printer has the latest firmware. (www.hp.com).
03. Yes indeed, we work constantly on product approvals, also in cooperation with HP. It
......is possible that your problem is solved with another firmware. Therefore contact our
......support desk.
04. Correct, they are always in standby mode. The only way to turn the devices off is by
......taking out the power cord.
05. Yes, the Base-unit has a green label and it is always the bottom tray. The Top-tray is
......the most upper tray of the TowerTray or the TT400 and has an orange label. In
......between the Top and Base it is only allowed to use Middle-trays. They are marked
......with a yellow label. The original HP-trays are being stapled upon the Top-tray. The
......printer is placed on top of the HP trays.
06. Remove the 4 carton pieces in every TF-tray (transport-protection) and clean the
......pickup-rollers.
07. Solution: All paper types are setup as BLANCO. Set up for each tray another
......paper type, then the printer will stop and prompt you when the tray is empty.
08. Yes, it is supported, for an overview download a code-list from this website.
09. Means that there is a paper jam in one of the trays. Open the trays to remove the
......paper.
10. At the TF there is a label located in a recess on the left side where
......the power-connection is situated. At the TT or TT400 it is located on the dark grey
